Marian liturgical use
As a Marian chasuble, it is particularly suited to Marian solemnities, feasts, and memorials, especially celebrations connected with Our Lady of Częstochowa.
It may be used for the Solemnity of Our Lady of Częstochowa on August 26, as well as during May devotions, Rosary devotions, pilgrimages, Marian indulgence celebrations, and Masses celebrated in honor of Our Lady.
Printed motifs and finishing
The light fabric and overall Marian design give the chasuble a solemn, formal character.
Wide blue finishing runs along the sleeves, lower edge, and collar. Gold decorative elements are harmoniously combined with the blue accents. They reinforce the chasuble’s elegant, liturgical character.
The front depiction refers to one of the most important and most venerated Marian images in Poland. It highlights Mary’s special role as the Mother of Christ and protector of the faithful.
The back symbolism refers clearly to devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and to Rosary prayer.
