Chasuble embroidery, stole and packaging
The design brings together rich liturgical tradition, elaborate embroidery, and hand-applied decoration. The subtle jacquard pattern creates an elegant background for burgundy velvet, gold trim, and detailed embroidery.
The cross has a prominent three-dimensional form. Its burgundy, red, and gold palette emphasizes the solemn character of the chasuble.
Applied orphreys run along the full length of the piece. Decorative gold trim edges them, and their symmetrical arrangement carries the embroidered ornaments. Gold trim also accents the edges of the chasuble and the collar.
The collar uses burgundy velvet and gold trim, creating a cohesive composition with the central orphrey and the embroidery. The hand-applied gold hematite and red crystals subtly reflect light and emphasize the distinctive character of the design.
The accompanying priest stole is made from burgundy velvet. Two three-dimensional embroidered crosses and embroidery at the nape decorate it, while gold trim finishes its edges. Ten gold tassels and 62 hand-arranged elements made from hematite and red crystals complete its decoration and create a cohesive composition with the chasuble.
The packaging is designed for attractive presentation and safe storage of the chasuble. Its presentation reflects the exclusive character of the Handmade collection.
Handmade in Poland / Europe: each piece is made with attention to the smallest details. The combination of three-dimensional embroidery, velvet, gold finishes, and hand-applied stones gives every piece a unique, one-of-a-kind character.
Liturgical occasions
It may be used during solemn celebrations that use the stated liturgical color, including:
- the Easter season and solemn celebrations of the Resurrection of the Lord,
- Christmas,
- feasts of the Lord for which that liturgical color is prescribed,
- solemnities and feasts of saints who are not martyrs,
- solemn jubilee Masses, first Masses, and priestly anniversary Masses,
- other especially solemn celebrations of the Eucharist.
The red-and-gold cross points to the mystery of Christ's Sacrifice and victory through the Cross. It also recalls that Sacrifice as the heart of every Eucharist.
