Cross embroidery on the chasuble
The cross is the central element of the design. Its elaborate, dimensional form combines burgundy, red and gold, reinforcing the solemn character of the vestment.
Appliquéd burgundy velvet orphreys run along the full length of the vestment. Decorative gold trim edges them and accents the chasuble edges. The embroidered ornaments are arranged symmetrically along the orphreys.
The collar uses soft burgundy velvet and decorative gold trim. It creates a cohesive composition with the central orphrey and the embroidery. The subtle pattern in the main fabric provides an elegant backdrop for the velvet, gold trim and detailed embroidered work.
The applied stones are placed by hand on the decorative elements. They subtly reflect the light and contribute to the distinctive character of the design.
Priest stole, packaging and handmade origin
The priest stole is made from soft burgundy velvet. It features two dimensional embroidered crosses and embroidery at the neck, then is finished with gold trim.
Ten gold tassels decorate the stole, together with 62 hand-arranged elements made from hematite and red crystals. These details form a cohesive composition with the chasuble.
Part of the Handmade collection, the piece combines the rich tradition of liturgical vestments with skilled embroidery and hand-applied decoration. It is handmade in Poland / Europe, with attention to the smallest details. The combination of dimensional embroidery, velvet, gold finishes and hand-applied stones gives each chasuble in the collection a unique, one-of-a-kind character.
The vestment is packaged in an elegant black box. The packaging emphasizes the exclusive character of the Handmade collection and is designed for attractive presentation and safe storage.
Liturgical seasons and celebrations
The light shade makes the vestment suitable for solemn celebrations in which white is the liturgical colour. It may be used during the Easter season and solemn celebrations of the Resurrection of the Lord.
Other uses include Christmas and feasts of the Lord for which white is the prescribed liturgical colour. It is also intended for celebrations and feasts of saints who are not martyrs.
Further suitable occasions include solemn jubilee Masses, first Masses, priestly anniversary Masses and other particularly solemn celebrations of the Eucharist.
The red-and-gold cross points to the mystery of Christ’s Sacrifice and victory through the Cross, central to every Eucharist.
