Handmade Chasuble: Embroidered Cross and Natural Stones

This exceptional chasuble from the Handmade collection combines rich liturgical tradition, refined embroidery, and hand-applied decoration. The vestment is made from elegant ecru jacquard fabric, whose subtle pattern provides an eye-catching background for burgundy velvet, gold trim, and elaborate embroidery.

The centerpiece of the chasuble is a magnificent, three-dimensional embroidered cross, positioned on both the front and back of the vestment. The elaborate cross, rendered in burgundy, red, and gold, emphasizes the solemn character of the chasuble and refers to the mystery of Christ’s Sacrifice and His victory through the Cross.

Applied orphreys made of burgundy velvet run along the entire length of the chasuble and are edged with decorative gold trim. They are further decorated with 18 three-dimensional embroidered ornaments, arranged symmetrically on the vestment. The piece is enhanced by hand with gold hematite and 70 red crystals, which subtly reflect the light and emphasize the distinctive character of the design.

The collar is also made of burgundy velvet and finished with decorative gold trim, creating a cohesive composition with the central orphrey and the embroidery.

Fabric, Embroidery and Included Stole

• Three-dimensional embroidered cross: a richly decorated cross appears on both the front and back of the chasuble.
• Embroidered details: the chasuble is additionally decorated with 18 three-dimensional embroidered ornaments, harmoniously arranged on the burgundy orphreys.
• Hand-applied embellishment: the piece is enhanced with gold hematite and 70 red crystals, arranged by hand on the decorative elements.
• Gold trim: the edges of the chasuble, the orphreys, and the collar are accented with decorative gold trim.
• Priest stole included: made of burgundy velvet and decorated with two three-dimensional embroidered crosses and embroidery at the nape, then finished with gold trim.
• Luxurious stole finish: the stole is decorated with 10 gold tassels and 62 hand-arranged elements made of hematite and red crystals, creating a cohesive composition with the chasuble.

Intended Use

The light color of the chasuble makes it suitable for solemn celebrations that use white as the liturgical color, while the red-and-gold symbolism of the cross particularly emphasizes the mystery of Christ’s Sacrifice and victory.

The chasuble may be used, among other occasions, during:

• the Easter season and solemn celebrations of the Resurrection of the Lord,
• Christmas,
• feasts of the Lord for which white is the prescribed liturgical color,
• celebrations and feasts of saints who are not martyrs,
• solemn jubilee Masses, first Masses, and priestly anniversary Masses,
• other particularly solemn Eucharistic celebrations.

The cross motif is the central element of the design and recalls the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which lies at the heart of every Eucharist.

Packaging

The chasuble is packaged in an elegant black box that emphasizes the exclusive character of the Handmade collection. Inside, in addition to the chasuble and matching stole, there is a small gift. The packaging was designed both for an attractive presentation and for the safe storage of the vestment.
