Edge Finish and Appearance

A subtle white, wavy border finishes one edge and gives the towels a delicate, neat appearance. The straightforward form coordinates with the other elements of the altar linen set and with altar furnishings. Its versatile character supports use at every celebration throughout the liturgical year, regardless of the nature of the celebration.

Lavabo Use During Mass

A liturgical towel is also called a lavabo towel. During Mass, in the lavabo rite, the priest washes his hands after preparing the gifts and then dries them. This use makes the item a practical part of sacristy furnishings. It may also serve as part of an altar linen set.

The set is a practical solution for parishes, churches, chapels, religious orders, and sacristies. It provides an appropriate supply of towels for successive liturgical celebrations.
