PAX embroidery and wheat motifs

At the center, the main decorative motif is PAX embroidery, worked in gold thread. Its placement gives the decoration a clear sacred message and emphasizes the spiritual dimension of the liturgy. It also contributes to the solemn character of the celebration.

The word PAX means peace. In Christian tradition, it refers to the peace of Christ, peace of heart, and reconciliation that comes from the presence of God.

Traditional Eucharistic symbolism is represented by wheat stalks. They refer to the bread that becomes the Body of Christ during Holy Mass. They also recall spiritual nourishment and the mystery of the Blessed Sacrament.

Decorative gold lines run across the fabric. They enrich the composition and give it an elegant, harmonious, and contemporary appearance. Careful craftsmanship shows in the attention to detail and refined finish.

Its durability and attractive appearance support use in a liturgical setting. The cloth is suitable for most standard lecterns, ambos, and liturgical stands.

Liturgical use

This piece is especially recommended for the Third Sunday of Advent, Gaudete Sunday, and the Fourth Sunday of Lent, Laetare Sunday, when rose may be used as the liturgical color. On these occasions, it expresses joy, hope, and spiritual encouragement in the midst of a season of expectation and penance.

The PAX embroidery and wheat stalks emphasize the joy that comes from the nearness of Christ and the Eucharistic character of the celebration.
